Liverpool and Everton clash in FA Cup third round

Merseyside rivals will meet at Anfield in the third round of the FA Cup, with several other intriguing ties on offer

It was a pretty good FA Cup third round draw made on Monday evening, with the mouth-watering prospect of Liverpool going up against Everton.

The Merseyside rivals play this coming Sunday in the Premier League and will once again meet in January for a place in the fourth round of the competition.

Nottingham Forest host Arsenal, with their east Midlands rivals Derby going to Old Trafford. Manchester City have an all-Premier League clash with Burnley, while Chelsea head to Carrow Road for a match against Norwich.

Shrewsbury might fancy a scalp when they play against West Ham United, while Middlesbrough and Sunderland clash in a northeast tie. Then we have Brighton and Crystal Palace meeting at the AMEX Stadium.
